Independent guides NerdleBuddy and Seekdle name Gus Owen as TimeGuessr’s creator, and the official jobs page links his profile. The App Store seller is TIMEGUESSR LIMITED. The creator and the store’s legal seller are different facts.

Gus Owen, not Angus Owen
NerdleBuddy and Seekdle independently name Gus Owen. The official jobs page links his LinkedIn profile; the profile itself blocked this recheck, so I do not use it to verify biographical details. A lookalike site, timeguessr.net, prints Angus Owen without a second source supporting that spelling.
The App Store seller name is TIMEGUESSR LIMITED. Google Play lists the developer as TimeGuessr. I do not collapse those labels into one legal sentence.
What the dates actually support
The Internet Archive’s first capture of timeguessr.com is 13 Mar 2023. Stubenzocker, writing later, says the site launched in March 2023. Reddit’s r/timeguessr was created on 13 Apr 2023. I will not pick 1 Mar as a launch day, because nobody published that day.
Numbered daily challenges are not launch announcements. I do not back-calculate a launch date from them. The exact launch day remains unconfirmed.
