Single player
Random single-player games
Single player is how you play another set after the daily, or instead of it. The public random-game settings offer no timer or a time limit, plus a challenge-a-friend control. It is not the live 1v1 ranked duel.

How it differs from the daily
The daily is one shared set until 07:00 UTC. A random game is a new draw. Both are five rounds, both score out of 50,000, and both can be opened without an account. I am not calling the random mode “unlimited” as a rule. Seekdle uses that word. The game page I read says random, timer options, and challenge a friend. I stop there.
Challenge a friend from this page is still not the ranked ladder. Ranked lives on the multiplayer page and needs a login.
When to use it
Use it to practice a clue without burning today’s daily, or when the archive day you wanted has aged off the calendar. The photo-clue guide is the method. This page is only the door.
Questions people ask
Is TimeGuessr single player free?
The multiplayer page says every game is free to play, and the random game opens without an account. Ads still show on the free layer.
Can I turn the timer off?
Yes. The single-player page offers no timer or a time limit.
Is it the same as multiplayer?
No. Ranked 1v1 is a separate page and needs a login.
